Articoli Correlati: Consumer - protection - internet in online searches
On 13 September 2022, the European delegation law provided for the transposition of E.U. regulations to give greater transparency and, therefore, greater protection for consumers, to internet searches and online reviews of services and products. The government will have to approve rules that aim to provide consumers with clear information on how reviews are processed, clarifying, for example, whether all reviews, both positive and negative, are published, or whether the reviews have been sponsored or influenced by a contractual relationship with a professional. Furthermore, the new rules will also have to ensure that online searches produce results that are not misleading in the judgment that the consumer can make on the quality of the service or product sought.
