The Chinese Beijing Intellectual Property Court has recently indicated what are the fees to protect company technical secrets at risk of illegal disclosure by those who are no longer employees. More precisely, it has established that confidentiality clauses can appear in contracts concluded with customers as well as in employment contracts signed with employees, to protect a particular category of information at risk that is as easy as it is harmful to disseminate, namely company technical secrets: in in this way the counterparty is required to undertake obligations to protect the confidentiality of the technical secrets of which it becomes aware, which are all the more valuable for a company the more they are exploited for practical and commercial purposes
