15/06/2019 - Brexit: in case of no-deal guidelines for companies from the E.U. Commission

Europe still divided, although it seems that the Union leaders have decided to postpone October 31, which will however be preceded by an audit in June 2019.
Given the indecision on the timing, on the methods to be applied and on the possible effects of Brexit, pending the evolution of the situation, the E.U. Commission, in a meeting of April 2019, repeated and suggested what should be the guidelines and the correct behaviors that they will have to keep companies that have relations with the U.K. market in the event of a no-deal. To avoid disruptions, in the case of “hard Brexit” the companies involved must therefore prepare and complete the administrative procedures necessary before the final farewell; in particular, if the company’s activity depends on certificates, licenses or permits issued by the U.K. authorities these may no longer be valid in the E.U.
