Articoli Correlati: brexit challenges - withdrawal agreement - EU-UK cooperation

According to the EU Parliament statements, the Brexit agreement will not cause the end of the cooperation and collaboration between the European Union and the United Kingdom. Many are the challenges and problems that both the EU and the UK are facing every day. The withdrawal agreement that the parties agreed on is mainly concerned with the rights of EU citizens in the UK and UK citizens living in other parts of the EU, the UK’s financial commitments undertaken as a member state, as well border issues (especially the one between the UK and the Republic of Ireland). There are other issues that need to be jointly addressed such as climate change, trade and the fight against terrorism. At the moment, the issues in any agreement on future relations concern the matter of defence and the fight against terrorism, environmental issues, research and education.
