Articoli Correlati: Brexit - customs rules - companies

With the outcome of the recent elections in the UK and in consideration of the indications of Premier B. Johnson, the hard Brexit is looming. As of midnight on 31 January 2020, all Union customs rules will no longer apply to Great Britain, which will be treated like any other third country with which the E.U. has no preferential or other trade agreements. Companies must hurry to take note of the correct customs rules and authorization procedures in order not to penalize imports and exports. Preferential concessions cannot be granted even to goods originating in overseas territories that have special relations with GB (Annex II of the TFEU, UK-OCTs). From that date, specific customs rules will be applied to the UK, including the customs tariff and commercial policy measures (quotas, licenses, etc.).
