On May 8^th, 2018, the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) issued the new annual updates of its public register on the DVC (double volume cap) data relating to the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive, which included the recent data from the month of April 2017 up to March 2018. In this publication there has been the introduction of a new separated Suspensions File which includes the names and references of all instruments that have been suspended, the dates of such suspension and any date concerning the revocation of the suspension. The goal is to present all information in one place so that NCAs and market participants can identify the instruments affected by the caps in order to take the necessary actions. Furthermore, the Authority will keep providing monthly updates on DVC files.
