Starting from March or June 2022, a contract for the sale of goods between an Italian company and a Hong Kong company, unless expressly agreed by the parties to the contrary, will be governed by the Convention on the International Sale of Furniture, adopted in Vienna in 1980 within the United Nations, also known in the language of commercial operators as the “Vienna Convention” or as CISG (acronym for Convention on contract for the International Sale of Goods).
