On 14 March 2019, the British Parliament voted the Government’s motion to request a brief postponement and set the date of March 20 as the deadline by which to hold a third vote to ratify the Brexit agreement. If the Parliament approves the agreement by March 20, the Government will ask the E.U. to postpone the release date to June 30, 2019. Otherwise a more substantial extension will be requested (it should be one year), provided that Europe gives its assent. Brexit sees continuous twists and an epilogue that does not yet appear predictable with reasonable certainty. After the last two votes with negative outcomes by the House of Commons on 12 and 13 March 2019 on the approval of the withdrawal agreement, the declaration on the framework of the future relations between the EU and the United Kingdom and the additional acts that have been agreed between EU and United Kingdom on 11 March 2019 and on a Brexit “no deal”, on 14 March 2019 the Government’s motion to request a brief postponement passed to the British Parliament (412 votes to 202). The House of Commons instead rejected the proposal for a second Brexit referendum. It should also be reported how the British Government has revised, also due to uncertainty about Brexit, its growth forecasts, forecasting an increase in 2019 at a rate of 1.2%, a reduction of four tenths compared to previous estimates, while GDP it will rise by 1.4% in 2020 and by 1.6% in the following three years.
