In consideration of the exhaustion of the resources initially allocated, the Ministry of Economic Development had, with the notice published in the Official Journal of the Italian Republic no. 62 of 14 March 2019, suspended the acquisition of the pre-ordered online protocol for the presentation of the applications for the facilitation of the Marchi + 3 measure. Subsequently, the MISE increased the initial financial envelope and ordered the reopening of the deadlines for the submission of applications for access to the contribution with reference to the Marchi+ 3 call for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises present throughout the national territory. The concessions are granted to facilitate the registration of European Union trademarks at EUIPO or international trademarks at WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization). The costs of trademark design, filing assistance and legal assistance for trademark protection actions can be financed. The Marchi + 3 measure has an available budget of approximately 3.5 million euros and Applications to access the incentive can be submitted starting from March 30, 2020 in relation to already registered trademarks. Each company will be able to count up to 20 thousand euros of contribution. The directorial decree of 26 November 2019 established that the online protocol assignment form will be active again from 9:00 am on 30 March 2020 until all available resources are exhausted.
